[Boxing- Argentina] 9.6/ 23:00 F.Veron- T.Kerefov

Interesting gala tonight in Argentina, in Buenos Aires we have some really interesting matchups. For a few days I've been wondering how the Francisco Veron-Timur Kerefov duel will go. On the one hand, it's a fight that I don't really like to touch because Veron is a local boxer, in addition undefeated (12-0, up to 10 ahead of time), at the perfect age (25 years old) and had the opportunity to box even at the Olympic Games in Tokyo 2020. In short, quite an interesting prospect on paper. Therefore, betting against him may not be entirely logical, but in my opinion, STS exaggerated the odds significantly because Veron is not a big name in Argentina and here he gets a very strong opponent. Timur Kerefov moved to the USA over 3 years ago, where he signed a contract with the Salita Promotions group and so far he is undefeated in the professional rings (13-0). But most of all, his base from Olympic boxing is huge, he won many tournaments and over the years he was a top Russian fighter with over 300 amateur bouts. He currently lives in Detroit where he often has the opportunity to train with strong names in the gym, such as another undefeated Russian Vladimir Shishkin. Without a doubt, he beats the young Argentinian when it comes to experience and from what I have observed, he is a really good boxer, the so-called 'body puncher'. Veron in these fights (weak names) what I watched, despite the fact that he has a very high percentage of wins ahead of time, he did not particularly impress, he uses a lot of range, but here he will not have such an advantage in physical conditions. I have no information on what principle this gala is promoted/co-promoted, but on the boxrec.com portal it is included that Svyatoslav Mangushev, who is Kerefov's promoter, also promotes this gala in Buenos Aires - which reduces the chance of a 'roller' if Kerefov's duel will be better and he wouldn't have gotten a verdict. I'm going a bit more comfortable after Timur's clear win because then in the event of a draw there will be a return, but for points as much as 5.50 it looks cool.
