Ok time to get back on track…I had a bad couple of days with poor picks where I didn’t have the time to research properly but took a chance anyway and just let myself down, so hopefully I can straighten up with a winner today.

I got this at 2.05, but it was 2.20 earlier in the day, and now it’s 1.90 on my book, so guessing there’s a few people smashing this line. France opened their qualification campaign with a 4-0 demolition of Netherlands at home, and looked pretty good in the process. They have a wealth of talent at every position and their attack is one of the most frightening propositions in world football that made a decent team like the Netherlands look inferior.

They take on Ireland in their second qualification match and expect they will dominate this contest. Ireland played a friendly match a few days ago to warm up for this one against Latvia, winning 3-2. Ireland dominated all the stats and had 3 goals to show for it, but still conceded two goals to a pretty ordinary team. Despite playing in front of a home crowd, they will find things much tougher against a powerhouse like France.

France should have a full squad to pick from and expect Mbappe and Griezmann will have plenty of opportunities to score a few and win comfortably.
