[Football- England 'Premier League'] 5.2/ 15:00 Nottingham Forest- Leeds United

Nottingham Forest are placed 14th in the Premier League whilst Leeds have a game in hand as they’re 3 points behind their foes tonight, sitting at 17th place.

Forest has seen 51 goals in their 20 games this season as they’ve scored 16 and conceded 35 (2.55 goals per game on average). Leeds have scored 26 goals whilst conceding 33 in 19 of their games (3.1 goals per game).

Forest have upgraded their squad as they bought in 3 names, one of whom will probably, but hopefully not, feature tonight - Keylor Navas. Navas is a really experienced goalkeeper whilst the other option, Wayne Hennessey, has a measly 64% save percentage in the Premier League this season. Fingers crossed that Hennessey starts. Navas has however just played two games this season, which were both cup games, one against a team which plays in the third league of France and the other against a team who plays in the sixth tier…

Jesse Marsch of Leeds got a full backing by the board to deliver consistent results. They added McKennie, Rutter, Wöber and Monteiro, all young and with great potential. A draw or a loss would set Marsch in risk of losing his job, so I expect a very Leeds-like game, which is very pressing and aggressive. With Everton and Wolves winning, Leeds might be heading for the relegation zone next gameweek.

McKennie and Rutter hopefully do play as they’ve had enough time to train with their new squad. Leeds are missing Rodrygo upfront and look to play Bamford up top, which is obviously not a great replacement, but we’ll see. Forest are missing Lingard and Gibbs-White, but Scarpa has been looking lively for them whilst Surridge looks like to make his second start of the season in the Premier League.

Having just 4 clean sheets, Meslier has just 61.7% save percentage. Leeds have managed over 2.5 in 12/19 games, Nottingham 7/21. This is a few matchups in which both teams feel like they can win, so I expect a really thrillful and an exciting game.
