[Football- England 'Premier League'] 26.12/ 18:30 Aston Villa- Liverpool
Aston Villa squad - Their main goalkeeper and the World Cup winner Emi Martinez is still pissdrunk in Argentina, so wont feature in this game. His replacement, Robin Olsen, has conceded 8 goals this season. In 2 games. 4 goals each. Last season he played a single Premier League game and conceded 3. So yeah, he is bad. On top of it all, Olsen might not even feature at all since he’s got some kind of a problem, meaning that a third goalkeeper might play. Who’s the third GK option? I’ve tried to search around but I have no fucking idea (Might be Filip Marschall). Whoever he might be, good luck to him.
Aston Villa is also without Jacob Ramsey, who’s been a focal point in Unai Emery’s squad. They are 12th in the League and for me, they can start picking up points after the next fixture (Tottenham).
Liverpool are at a point where they need to start converting and racking up points. Currently 6th, they have players who have gotten a big rest (Salah, Carvalho, Thiago, Robertson aka players who did not feature in the World Cup) since none of the players in the Liverpool squad didn’t make it to the final stages of the World Cup. They did lose to Man City a few days ago, but not that it was expected, but it could’ve gone either way. Nunez was wasteful once again, but having Olsen in goal… He’ll need to just hit the target.
