Today, we are taking Reilly Opelka to win the match vs. Chris O’Connell.
Here are 3 reasons why I think this will happen:
Although Opelka has been struggling as of late, he is still one of the best American players on clay and should not be underestimated just because he had a couple bad tournaments.
Opelka has a great serve and comparatively to Vinolas-Ramos, he aces at a higher rate and his serves will be way harder to return than Ramos’
O’ Connell does not have the experience that Opelka has and the level of competition he has played in 2022 has been at the challenger level for the most part.
Overall, I think Opelka will take this and I think it will give him some momentum to go through further in Geneva.
