We are now at the stage of the year where betting for teams who are in relegation battle has pretty good value. It hurts my soul to bet against Bolo since I lived there or a year and hold great memories, but bets don't care about feelings. There are multiple reasons for me to pick Cagliari:
Cagliari is just 2 points below safety (with 1 game more though) chasing Torino. Now, Torino just had to cancel yesterday's game vs Lazio because they had too many players with COVID which makes me think they will struggle the following weeks, a really good opening for our team to look for safety.
Bologna has nothing to fight for and 2 key defenders out (Tomiyasu and Danilo) + 2 other sub defenders weakening their backline considerably. The part about having nothing to fight for (they are midtable) makes me think that Cagliari's motivation should be 1 notch higher.
Cagliari doesn't have a bad squad at all. In games like these, their 2 veteran, and once incredible, players: Godin and Nainggolan are expected to show why they were at the top for such long time. They should take the chance to save the team from relegation now that they have an opening.
