[Football- England 'Premier League'] 25.8/ 15:00 Wolves- Chelsea

First and foremost I apologise as usual whenever we lose. Yesterdays bet was awful, and probably the quickest loss I’ve taken. Ipswich scores a slump goal after 7 minutes but Man City cover the team total O2.5 goals after 17 minutes up 3-1. Game ends 4-1 to Man City.. On to today!

Wolves unsurprisingly lost their opener last weekend against Arsenal 2-0 away. I thought Wolves was decent and put in a fully acceptable effort.

Chelsea are coming off a 2-0 defeat to Manchester City last weekend in their opener, then followed that up by winning against Servette in the Conference League qualifiers in a game where they rotated quite a lot of players. In the City game I think Chelsea made a pretty good effort, but at the same time you can see that this is a team that needs more time together to reach their full potential. They did look pretty unstructured in my opinion though, and Man City won pretty comfortably because of it. Offensively for Chelsea there is a lot of quality in plenty of positions and once they get going I think they’ll be a threat to every defence, saw glimpses of it against City.

I think spaces will open up for Wolves to convert during the course of the game & they are definitely capable of hurting a naive Chelsea defence. Chelsea play very offensively and one thing I noticed is the full backs in Chelsea who seem to follow up a lot in the attack, which leaves the centre backs vulnerable, and to be honest I don’t think really high about Chelsea’s centre backs atm. Chances will be there for Wolves, it will be up to them to convert them to goals.

I don’t see Chelsea go goalless in the first two rounds of the Premier League so I think they’ll open their goal account in this one. And as I said I think Wolves will do as well.

Feels like this Chelsea team can score a lot of goals this year, but also concede a lot. Let’s hope for a game of chances in both ends!
