This next bet is a risky one. Everything points towards the opposite. Luton have been conceding lots of goals, Arsenal scoring lots of goals. However, when I see a line like this I am tempted to take it. The bookies are expecting Arsenal to record a rampant win in a high scoring game. I've had success at taking advantage of lines where everything is inflated, particularly in the Bundesliga, where taking unders can be very profitable.
We all know how good Arsenal's defense is, it's perhaps the best in the league, and one of the best in Europe. The partnership of Gabriel and Saliba is rock solid, and I highly doubt Luton manage to get a goal.
The reverse fixture was very high scoring, but Luton play totally different at home, away, especially against big teams, they tend to play frustrating, compact football. They will sit deep and pray that Arsenal fail to convert their chances. While Arsenal are a great goalscoring team, they still lack a true number 9, and if any of their wingers of midfielders have a poor game, they could be in for a long night.
Their games have either been easy wins, high scoring, or they've clawed out draws or narrow wins in low scoring games. Within the first 30 mins, we will know whether this bet will cash or not, I can gurantee you that.
I'm banking on Luton to create a frustrating defensive game, at a slow pace, and nullify Arsenal's attack. They have an intelligent manager and capable players. I do think Arsenal will win, but with even 4 goals being a push, I have to take this line. Again, this could be nuked within the opening 10 minutes, that's entirely possible, but we ball anyway. 2-0 Arsenal is my prediction.
