Bryce Mills is a pretty impressive young boxer at this level. He's 22 years old and is fighting fairly often while taking decent steps up in terms of competition. Since his loss back in 2021 he's picked up 8 wins, some against solid opponents. He's very athletic and quick, mixes up his offense well, and a big fan favorite around New York.
Ngayot is another young boxer building up after an early loss. He seems defensively sound, fairly quick and athletic, and he carries decent power at the level he's been fighting. He can let a lot of time pass without throwing any offense which will make it hard to win rounds against Mills. He has fought very poor competition to this point, making some things about him hard to judge with an opponent like Mills.
Looking at the competition they've both faced, Mills should prove himself to be a class above Ngayot at this point in their careers. I'm not particularly worried about Mills losing this fight. However, Mills only has two knockouts in his last ten fights, both against opponents that have been stopped often in the past. Ngayot has never been six rounds which is slightly concerning but he's a young, motivated fighter who's in great shape and has a solid amateur pedigree. I see Mills using his size and Ngayot's inactivity to win large portions of the fight, while Ngayot brings the fight and makes it competitive in spurts. I just don't see Mills ending this within six rounds.
