Anyhow, going with The Great tonight. Both of these guys have gas tanks. Volk is about as durable as they get and Yair is super crafty. Volk is 8 decision wins out of 12 victories in the UFC (4 by KO/TKO). Yair is 5 decisions for 10 victories in the UFC (5 by sub/KO/TKO). So, it's definitely possible for Yair to get a sub off some miraculous shit. Hell, it's possible Volk gets the sub. It's MMA, so anything can happen honestly, but I just don't see it going those ways. I see this going the full 5 and Volk getting it by decision. The odds on this same pick are actually the same for Moreno in his fight and the only thing that kept me from making that my pick (which I will still prolly bet on) is because Volk is the heavier favorite for his matchup. There will be sub attempts, there will be takedowns, there will be knockdowns. But I think both these guys will give us a hell of a fight, weather the storm, but The Great will do enough damage to Yair to get the decision win. I've heard all kinds of messy talk when UFC PPVs come around on this sub, so looking forward to the picks!
