Onto the CHL qualifiers here. First leg in Herning was 1-1, which means Midtjylland must chase a victory here to proceed to the next round in the qualifiers or get knocked down into Europa League.

Midtjylland have not impressed thus far in the Danish Superliga. While they produce chances, they're just not clinical in their finishing and lastly got whooped 3-1 by Silkeborg at home. A match they could've won, but they just crumbled. They are lacking offensive confidence and it's starting to show across the midfield and defensive lines as well.

Larnaca is.. Well, a Cypriot team. They often pose trouble to the Danish teams, especially when playing in Cyprus. It's going to be 35C there today, and for some strange reason it's an early kick-off at 17:30 CET which is gonna be hot and humid as fuck. Water breaks and slower pace is to be expected.

Larnaca is gonna cheese the fuck out of this one and try to get a set piece goal or something and then park the bus. Midtjylland? Much the same, except they aren't acclimated to this sort of weather. I expect a very slow paced, tactical match where Larnaca will defend and hold possession, and Midtjylland aren't capable of executing chances. I don't really see an away game in Cyprus as the savior of matches where Midtjylland suddenly find their attacking mojo back.
