Hey all - back at it again today with a pick that’s not too attractive in terms of odds but one I believe will be a good play. I also think these odds will shift the closer we get to the game so probably lock this in ASAP before it loses all the value it has. But hey, it’s the dog days of summer so you have to work in the fringes and any winner is a good winner in my book. Either way, trying to contribute as today’s thread will certainly be depressing lmao!

Anyway, Zrinjski ran away with the Bosnian league last year and are one of the best teams to win that league in recent history. Hopes were high for them to make a run in the Champions League Qualifiers but an unlucky draw against Sheriff (a team that played in the UCL last year and took points off of Real Madrid) saw them fall from the UCL to the UEL qualifying stage. Over two legs they lost the tie 1-0 with Sheriff’s goal coming from an unfortunate Zrinjski own goal. Long story short: if not for getting the worst possible draw, these boys would still be playing the the Champion’s League Qualifiers and probably challenging for a spot in the group stage.

Conversely Tirana were also eliminated from UCL qualification but unfortunately against much weaker competition (Diddeleng - a team from Luxembourg). To make matters worse, they lost both legs including a 2nd leg at home that saw Diddeleng playing the last 15 minutes down a man. Prior to the sending off Diddeleng also dominated many of the attacking and possession statistics and were in control of the game. Not a great look for Tirana.

So with all the being said, Zrinjski Double Chance appears to be the play here. I simply cannot see Zrinjski losing this game and if you want some further value, Zrinjski - Tie No Bet is -105 as winning outright is not out of the equation. If pressed, I would say Zrinjski ties or edges out a close win in this leg and proceeds to dominate the return leg at home.
