I think Giorgi will put away Jelena this match only because from what I have seen shes the better player.. I know shes a big underdog in this match but hear me out.
Jelena is a scary opponent to bet against, with her solid grass court form she's beaten Madison Keys and Ajla tomljanovic easily, and just put away Kalinina 6-3, 6-2. She is head to head 1-1 with Giorgi and they are both very comfortable playing on quick surfaces. Jelena will definitely carry some momentum going into this game that's forsure.
However Giorgi has been furiously dominant, posting easy straight set wins in all of her matches. she knows how to work the corners of the court and has a more measured approach when it comes to rallying. Shes better then Jelena I feel and she will get the job done. She reached the semi finals of this event last year but was forced to retire, so I expect a major come back! Go Giorgi!
