Well the Champions League is back and we'll hopefully grab some success once again. I'm 4/4 on picks in the Champions League this year and hopefully, we can make it 6/6 by the end of this week. We'll once again be targeting Atletico Madrid and Celtic, two teams we've had some great success with over the last few weeks. Should be a great game for neutrals, and hopefully, we'll see some goals.

Looking at Atletico Madrid, more than 2.5 Goals has hit in 7/7 of their last fixtures. BTTS has hit in 6/7 of their last fixtures. The combination of BTTS & Over 2.5 Goals has hit in 6/7 of their last fixtures. Looking at home games, BTTS & Over 2.5 Goals has hit in 1/1 Champions League matches and 5/5 La Liga matches.

Looking at Celtic, more than 2.5 Goals has hit in 8/9 of their last fixtures. BTTS has hit in 6/8 of their last fixtures. The combination of BTTS & Over 2.5 Goals has hit in 5/7 of their last fixtures. Looking at away games, BTTS & Over 2.5 Goals has hit in 0/1 Champions League matches and 3/7 Scottish Premiership matches.

Overall, I am expecting goals from both sides in this fixture. Celtic have kept just one clean sheet in their 37 CL away games, conceding 89 goals in these matches. That generates a record of 2.4 goals conceded per away game and is the HIGHEST of any side to have played 30+ games on the road in the CL. BTTS hasn't hit as often for Celtic largely due to large wins, often 3-0 for them, in which their opponent is just too weak to score. Atletico Madrid is another beast altogether, having scored 26 goals this season in La Liga, the second-highest in the league. I fully expect Atletico Madrid to score a goal or two on the day, against a Celtic squad that has a strong record of conceding in away games, but I also see them conceding on the day. Atletico Madrid have only kept one clean sheet in seven games, a game in which their opponents received a red card in the 25th minute, so back Celtic to get on the scoresheet. Having scored 28 goals this season in the Scottish Premiership, the highest in the league, this Celtic squad knows how to grab a few goals. Although Celtic failed to score in their previous away CL match, they did receive two red cards halfway through the second half and if they manage to play smart, I expect their attacking talent to get them at least 1 goal. Expect a 2-1 victory for the hosts but with the CL, you never really know what could happen. Regardless, I feel that odds of 2.37 are very generous, and given this bet hit in the previous fixture between these two, I have some confidence it can hit again.
