After a draw with the Czech Republic in Prague and a smooth 2-0 win over Poland with a two-point advantage, the Albanians are unexpectedly leading in Group E ahead of the Czech Republic and Moldova. A win against the Czech Republic at home with a fanatically reacting audience will practically guarantee them promotion to the European Championship, because their last match is against the Faroe Islands in Tirana. The Czechs also have to look for points here - they will be strengthened by the return of David Jurasek from Benfica after injury.
