Aalesund have a disastrous away statistics this season, having lost all five of their away matches so far. The last time AaFK had an away "taste of victory" in Eliteserien was in October last year (1:0 Jerv). But tonight's game at Briskeby Arena Hamar! Aalesund has a new coach, Christian Johnsen (replacing Lars Arne Nilsen, who was sacked in May in mid-June), who has won three of his last four away games with Ham-Kam while at Raufoss. On Sunday, Johnsen made his debut as AaFK coach, beating Rosenborg 1-0 at the Color Line Stadion in Alesund.
Ham-Kam is last in the Eliteserien standings with just seven points from the first twelve rounds of the competition (above Aalesund with the same number of points, only better goal difference). Last Sunday, "Kamma" lost at Brann Stadion 1:2 and it was the fourth defeat in a row. A deep analysis of the statistics shows that "Kamma" won only three of the last 34 away games in the Eliteserien. This season, Ham-Kam is also struggling at home (they have lost three of their last four home games) and their stats against Aalesund in Briskeby are abysmal). Defender Vegard Kongsro suffered an injury in Bergen and his game is in doubt today. Important Canadian defender Julian Dunn will not play (injury).
