FAA hasn't started 2023 in a positive way, losing a significant amount of points in his first two months of the season. The canadian is one of the best players at doing the "serve plus one" routine due to his powerful forehand, which usually works really well in fast surfaces but he's so far 7-4 on the season, and some of his wins were a bit of a struggle against opponents where a top 10 player should have been able to dominate easily.
Maxime Cressy is a big serve and volley type of player and despite not looking entirely fit at the start of the season he has a record of 7-5 in 2023 being a finalist in Montpellier and having second round appearances at the Australian Open, Rotterdam and Marseille.
Not many players can contest Cressy's serve and if the american delivers a good performance on that matter he should be able to close out his service games easily with Felix not being a fantastic returner. This should be played in day conditions at Dubai and the hot climate conditions could make the ball travel even faster which is great for Cressy's playstyle. I can see the underdog making this a really close match and this handicap is somewhat absurd for a bot server who can produce really long sets with tiebreaks.
If you don't have the +3 game handicap in your bookie I think the handicap +1.5 sets and the handicap +2.5 games are also valid options with higher risk but higher reward too.
