[Football- Conference League] 23.2/ 21:00 Lech- Bodo/Glimt

Norwegian Bodo/Glimt won just one of their last 15 away games (1-7-7) in Europe and will be in trouble today in Poznan. Their only win in that time came a year ago when they beat Celtic 3-1 at Celtic Park. Since then, they have played seven away matches in Europe without a win after 90 minutes of play (Glimt lost 3-1 away to Faroese side KI Klaksvík and 0-1 in Belfast to Linfield of Northern Ireland, among others).
Both Lech Poznań and Bodo/Glimt were eliminated from the fall group stage of the Europa League. Glimt had a great opportunity to get off to a good start in the Conference League Round of 16 with Lech Poznań at home in Aspmyra, but they failed to score against the Polish champions (a goalless draw was not what Kjetil Knutsen had hoped for). The stats show that Glimt dominated this match, but a missed home win could cost them dearly. Over 30,000 tickets have been sold for the Bodo/Glimt match against last year's Polish champions, so the stands promise to be crowded. Lech is in the middle of the season and is ranked 3rd in our Ekstraklasa. Last Thursday, Glimt played their first competitive match since beating Stromsgodset 4-2 in the last round of the 2022 Eliteserien, so match form is a big question mark. Plus a few absences from the squad today. Two midfielders Ulrik Saltnes and Sondre Brunstad Fet did not play at Aspmyra Stadion and will not play today in Poznań. Two defenders Fredrik Bjorkan (signed from Dutch Feyenoord Rotterdam) and Omar Elabdellaoui (Turkish Galatasaray) are not registered in Glimt's European squad. Young striker Joel Mvuka and Danish midfielder Albert Gronaek are complaining about injuries and although they are in the matchday squad for tonight's meeting their performances are in question. Midfielder Hugo Vetlesen returns to the game (he was suspended for cards in the first meeting).
At home, Lech is undefeated in the last eight matches (seven of which they won). Poznan have lost only three of the last 17 home games in European cups (Glasgow Rangers, Benfica and Genk).
Kjetil Knutsen may have learned the right lessons from the first game, but his team's results from previous European away games don't lie.
