I try not to post anything that’s worst than 1.90 now but I really like this play. Lara is a complete monster and has already took the soul of one Brit in Josh Warrington. He’s got power in both hands and is one of the most exciting fighters to watch today. Wood has had a late purge in his career, after beatings against mediocre opposition in the past. He’s strung together two very impressive wins, winning the world title against Xu Can and successfully defending it against Michael Conlan, in what was for me the fight of the year last year. Wood, for as well as he done in those fights, just has a little bit too much to do tonight. Wood stands very upright and was dropped and wobbled badly against Michael Conlan who isn’t a big puncher. He has also been ko’d before by Gavin McDonnell who only has 6 kos in 22 wins. Lara from the get go will be swinging in power punches and I just don’t think Wood has the chin or defence to be able to deal with it. I do believe he may have a few moments early on since he has a good jab and Lara tends to eat them but I don’t think this will faze Lara. Overall i see this going one way and I think Lara will get this done early. Apologies the write up is abit rushed.
