[Football- Italy 'Serie A'] 31.10/ 18:30 Hellas Verona- AS Rome
Ok, so, let's start with the fact that I was quite baffled by Roma's odds for this game. I also have to admit that if my memory serves it right, Roma generally don't tend to do what I want them to do when betting on them, but here we go anyway.Roma are currently ranked 6th in the Serie A, but a win here would land them on the 4th spot. Their opponents, Verona, are currently ranked 19th tied with 5 points with rank #20 Cremonese.
Verona is currently on a 6 game losing streak (ignoring friendlies because they mean fuck all), conceding at least 2 goals in all of those games. Roma has won their latest 3 domestic away games.The only thing that somewhat explains the odds to me is that Roma lost the last 2 h2hs where Verona played at home. These things happen every now and then and I am just going to dismiss these as anomalies.
One thing that has to be said about Roma too is, this is mainly because of their coach Jose Mourinho, the type of football they play is atrocious to watch and mainly revolves around 'not losing' rather than dominating and winning. This shows in them having only scored 13 goals so far and still managing to win 7 times.
Roma please be good to me for a change, do what you have to do, score (probably not more than 1 or 2 goals as per your usual) against this abomination of a team called Verona and hand us some extra cash.
