[Tennis- US Open] 29.8/ 18:30 C.Ruud- K.Edmund
Edmund, once a great player sadly just isn't finding his top 15 ATP form. Watched his last game against Bonzi and even backed him to cover the spread before the game and he did but it was a lucky win. Bonzi went a break up in the 1. Set and didn't even want to return anymore he could easily kill him 6-2 6-2 but he let up, relaxed and saved my bet. But this is a different story.
Ruud is a killer because you really need to be better than him to beat him(except for his last match against Shelton, that was crazy, good for Shelton). Ruud is now well rested and I see the whole match of him returning everything and Edmund just hitting unforced errors like against Bonzi. Tbh I can't even see it going in a tie break and just don't know what has to happen for Ruud not to do this match in a 6-2 6-2 6-4 fashion.
I don't think he will go far tho, his backhand is too bad for him to get away with it on hard courts and I expect him to go to the 3rd maybe 4th round.
