[Football- Conference League] 3.8/ 19:00 Viborg- B36 Torshavn
B36 Torshavn is gonna have their hands full here. They're in pretty bad form in their domestic league, and they barely scraped by in the last round of the conference league qualifiers against Tre Fiori from San Marino. They scored a single goal at home which isn't great, and got a 0-0 away. Offensively, their options are limited.
Viborg is playing ugly but effective football. They won 1-0 both matches in the last round against Suduva from Lithuania. They held the Lithuanians to something like two shots on goal during 180+ minutes of football. They definitely aim at keeping things as slow as possible, since they don't have a very deep squad and don't want to sacrifice their start in the superliga.
Viborg is gonna go the Suduva route and go for an early goal and then pretty much park the bus, taking few chances to score another. B36 have limited attacking abilities and Viborg is a physical team that's gonna shut them down.
I feel like this line is high because Viborg scored 4 goals against FC Copenhagen in the last round of the Superliga. Awesome, but weird match - they were handed a penalty that wasn't really there which changed the course of the match. Bookies vastly overestimate their attacking football here, and tbh they have no interest in gassing themselves out just 3 days before they have another superliga match(on Saturday, strangely), where they will probably have to field most of the same starting 11.
