Game 3 between Monaco and ASVEL, ASVEL split the series, and now it's time to face Monaco at home. This game is hard to call, both teams are really streaky when it comes to shooting, and as well this being Pro A, neither team can be called "favorite" in this series.
After two very .. weird games, I'm expecting something of a more relaxed shootaround game between these two, Mike James will attempt to be the hero player today, meanwhile ASVEL will look to play it's deep rebound and interior game.
These teams played 5 games this year, with the following totals: 169, 166, 175, 166, 156, 145 (this being the blowout with Monaco shooting a pathetic 25%)
In the last 5 home games, Monaco has gone: 151, 159, 162, 161, 165. I wouldn't say Monaco's gameplan is "defense" orientated, and if they start hot, it can be a real shootaround game with Mike James opting to take quick fast paced shots from the exterior. ASVEL will want to keep up and they also lack the defensive structure.
