Dern has amazing BJJ but her grappling and striking is pretty bad. She likes to wing big punches and struggles taking her opponents down. Markos’s takedown defense isn’t bad, but there’s no guarantee she can keep this fight off the ground. If this fight goes to the ground it’ll end pretty quickly for her. However, if this fight can stay standing, Dern’s biggest advantage will be neutralized. On the feet, Dern has better striking and can definitely win the decision if it goes there. Markos has never gotten a KO win in the UFC and will definitely not submit Dern, so if she wins it’ll be via decision.
