[Football- Turkey ' Super Lig] 14.9/ 16:00 Kayserispor- Kasimpasa
Kayserispor were relegated from the top division last year, but due to Covid the Turkish FA cancelled relegations. This left the team to completely overhaul their team, transferring out a load of players, and getting a completely new squad in, including the likes of Aaron Lennon!
Kasimpasa are an average team, have had good preparations including 2 good draws in pre season against good Turkish opposition. They also have a new manager, who was a history of winning, winning the 2nd Lig title 2 out of the last 3 years, and they are expected to do well.
On paper, this match seems pretty even, however. Kayserispor have just been handed a transfer ban, meaning all their recent signings can not play on this game. They had already sent a squad to the game, and at least 8 of the players can not play today because of this transfer ban, so they are having to send out a new squad, obviously this is not ideal, and I can’t see how they can get anything out of this game with a lacklustre squad, with no preparation.
