The courts play pretty fast in Paris and the balls are very heavy according to some players which makes this quite beneficial for solid baseliners such as Carreno Busta. He proved that against Gaston and Struff anyway. On the other hand, Gombos outplayed Goffin which I also bet on Gombos on that match but Goffin has been in a terrible shape for a long while. He made 46 unforced errors in that match. So that doesn't really show anything about Gombos' performance. Carreno Busta won't be anywhere near recent Goffin's performance.
