[Football- England 'Premier League'] 7.10/ 13:30 Luton Town- Tottenham
Another weekend of Premier League action and i’m feeling really really good about this bet, i think it’s SUPER generous for the odds. Tottenham are simply the much better team and should really run the goals up against Luton.
Spurs sit 2nd behind Man City after picking up a controversial 3 pts against Liverpool last weekend. After selling Harry Kane they’ve looked actually very good, with new signing James Maddison having a big impact on the team. They have a super strong starting 11 and have put up 17 goals so far this season in 7 games, have have 5 wins and 2 draws. Tottenham have won 12 of their last 14 matches against newly promoted sides and I don’t think Luton will cause any difficulties for them. It’s not just Spurs’ attacking quality, but I think their defense also looks quite good right now especially against weaker teams and they should manage to keep a clean sheet.
Before their 3-1 shock victory over Everton everyone was saying Luton could break the points record for least amount of points in a PL season. They sit in 17th with 4 points and have conceded 14 goals. They just haven’t looked up to the standard so far this season, they concede easily and have a hard time scoring. They are really punching above their weight and I don’t think they’ll cause much trouble here. Luton are also just coming off of a 1-2 loss to Burnley, which was played Tuesday, so mid-week fatigue may be a factor here, Spurs will have fresher legs. They also lost their CB Amari’i Bell in that match which will definitely effect them, probably won’t be fit for this match. Luton tend to get picked apart by teams that the ball efficiently, and I think Spurs will seriously cause problems with how dynamic their front four are.
Think Spurs should get a routine away win here. 2-0 or 3-0 to them is my prediction. I like Son and/or Richarlison to score here.
