Balazs is by far and away the worst player in the USO Main draw this year, he has a protected ranking of World #101, which is why he's even playing in this event. He's just collecting his paychecks in grand slams at this point. He will very likely retire at the end of the year. Medvedev could not have dreamed of getting a more relaxing opponent in round 1. This should be extremely smooth as I just don't see a world where Balasz wins 7 games against Danill. It's very important for Medvedev to win this as quickly as he can so that he has more energy against the top guns later in the event. I expect a bagel in this match, because lately whenever Balasz trails in a set, he completely checks out.
