[Boxing- Spain] 29.4/ 20:00 J.L.Navarro Jr.- R.Landaeta
On Saturday, an interesting gala in Madrid, where a very nice duel in the fight of the evening was supposed to be fought by Przemek Runowski, but Kerman Lejarraga withdrew just a dozen or so days before the fight ... ending his career. Anyway, the gala has a very interesting schedule and I am most interested in the Jose Luis Navarro Jr. - Ronny Landaeta fight. This is a rematch, but the result of the first fight was a bit sensational because Landaet's veteran stopped Navarro in the 6th round - although it's a bit too big a word because he pushed his rival into the corner and showered him with a hail of punches, giving the referee an excuse to stop the duel 'standing up'. Until then, Landaeta didn't show anything that is rather typical for him - he is a veteran (although he made his professional debut at 32 years old, he is now 40) who fought a few fights with strong names and was knocked out only by the extremely dangerous Christian Mbili, but there and Ronny stood firmly on his feet to the end. Jose Luis Navarro Jr. is a young boy, only 2000 years old - from a boxing family, his father was also a professional boxer who won the Spanish championship and apparently the son is quite a talent. He's definitely in excellent physical condition. Here we have a rematch after a little more than 2 months so there is no need to think twice - these types of fights are organized to get the prospect back on the right path. So the course of the duel remains, and since Landaeta knows how to 'dirty box', which he showed in one fight, where he was not particularly threatened (although Navarro Jr. had finished all his seven fights ahead of time) and Navarro should have been more vigilant, it seems to me that his win on points looks very solid.
