Comparing the first team of these clubs, player-by-player, Mirassol simply has the better players. They also were tested in a harder tournament (São Paulo state championship) and did a little better than Chapecoense did at their easier tournament (Santa Catarina state championship) where Chape was knocked out by a non-league team.
