[Football- England 'Premier League'] 3.2/ 21:00 Chelsea- Fulham
Both Chelsea and Fulham have had very low goal-scoring form as of late, Chelsea averaging 1.4 match goals in the last 5 games, and Fulham averaging 1.8 match goals in the last 5 games. Chelsea has been affected by a long list of injuries and lack of football inspiration for a while now - being unable to beat (or even score) any top-tier team in the last months. Their home form averages 2.11 goals in 9 games, and their last 6 home games have seen under 2.5 goals. Fulham has been quieter in their goal-scoring form than earlier in the season and has managed to hold up well against the top 6 teams, in recent form only losing by 1 to Man City, Man United, Newcastle and Tottenham - all of those games ending 1-0 or 2-1. I think this is a draw game with a Chelsea that has yet to find attacking chemistry this season, and a solid Fulham team with low-scoring form as of late. Chelsea lost 2-1 while away to Fulham a month ago, which was largely affected by Joao Felix getting a red card in the second half. Fulham knows they can make a statement at Stamford Bridge and I think this will be a tough low-scoring game!
TLDR; Chelsea spent €120m on Enzo Fernandez from Benfica even after Liverpool spent €90m on Darwin Nunez from Benfica and Joao Felix still won’t play from his karate kick 3 weeks ago.
