[Hockey- Sweden 'SHL'] 26.1/ 19:00 Brynas- Timra

Tonight a small "half derby" when Timra, covering about 20 miles to Gavle, will play with local Brynas in an important match for both teams.
The hosts improved their game after the break in the competition, despite the recent home loss to Farjestad 2: 3. This is especially visible in the defensive game, which was a problem almost throughout the season (Brynas have lost the most goals in the league so far). Experienced goalie Anders Lindback did not play effectively, which was strongly hoped for in the pre-season. But on defense stand out young Samuel Johannesson (who has made huge strides since his move from Rogle) and Czech defender David Sklenicka. Interestingly (and a bit unusually), these two defenders lead the team's internal scorer list!
Timra had been in a "big hole" for a while with five straight losses under her belt, and so far a successful season was collapsing. But recently they had an all-important 4-1 home win over Oskarshamn. The visitors' coach Anders Karlsson made some changes to the squad and it had an almost immediate positive effect. American winger Nick Halloran has left for Modo, but a new player is on his way to the NHC Arena to replace him (the final details are being worked out and kept secret, but it is known that it will be another player from Finland).
Will Timra catch the "light wind in the sails" again after the last win and Brynas will score a set of points with playing very unevenly? It is absolutely possible.
