I don't think Poland has had a single good game during this tournament, they were the better team overall against Saudi Arabia. However, if the Saudi's hadn't scored those 2 ridicules goals against Argentina, nobody would held them in any regards. And people would not think that that was an good result.

France cruised more or less through the group stage, won the first two games, and got to rest all the important players in the last game. The biggest reason for this to fail is Hugo Loris making a blunder in goal, and the game ends 2-1.
