After four defeats in their last five games, Stoke have slipped to the bottom of the table. Over the weekend, the Potters created enough scoring chances to win against Birmingham but lost 2-1. It was the same at Rotherham (home 0-1), where the "Potters" were the better team and didn't even score a point. Stoke have a strong side on paper, much better than the results suggest.
After three games without a win, Luton finally won a 1-0 away home win against Blackpool last Saturday. However, from the game it was not a fair victory for "The Hatters", who in this meeting had more luck than they showed skill. The problems with the defense (with several injured defenders on the list) did not lessen (on the contrary, when another defender Dan Potts had to leave the pitch after only 20 minutes due to injury). Defender Gabriel Osho returns to the game after a suspension for cards, but the defense formation looks thin anyway.
Don't expect an easy victory for Stoke today, but the players of Scottish manager Alex Neil are favorites to win against Luton Town. The more that the "Hatters" have problems with injuries and Nathan Jones has a few things to think about.
