Tiafoe has taken his game up a notch as of late. He had a heck of a run at the US Open, lost to Alcaraz in a thrilling 5 setter, took out Nadal in 4 sets, and his other 4 matches he won them all 3 sets to 0 and against some pretty good competition (Rublev, Schwartzman, Kubler and Giron). He beat Tsitsipas to clinch the Laver Cup for the World side. He won his first rounder against some cat I haven't heard of 6-3, 6-4. He seems determined right now, and says he wants to end up in the top 10-15 rank by the end of the year. I believe it, dude is hungry!

His opponent is Bernabe Zapata Miralles, he is a clay rat who plays on the dirt most of the year. He is 2-4 this year on outside hard matches. He did beat Taro Daniel in the 1st round who is alright, but I think Foe should be able to not let up and take care of biz in 2 sets in this matchup.
