These have been some very tough days over at Maize Picks, so definitely tail me with caution. However, you have got me fucked up if you think a cold streak, death threats, and hate are going to scare me and run me out of this community, like they have to many others on this thread in the past. I love Halep's form right now. She looks like she really has what it takes to win Wimbledon this year, in my opinion. 5 of her last 5 matches have all been dominating victories in straight sets, against pretty incredible competition. Badosa is playing very well herself, but she has had a pretty easy draw besides Kvitova. Kvitova made 31 unforced errors and Badosa won 7-5, 7-6. Halep will not make these errors. When Badosa loses, she loses in straight sets. When Halep wins, she almost always wins in dominating straight sets. Badosa has played well, but she is not known for her grass play, it is her clay and hard surface play that has really put her on the map. Halep smoked her 6-1, 6-3 on clay late April and now she gets her on the surface where she is 48-18 all time.
