From 2012 until 2021 she didn't play a single match on this surface and her story is quite sad since she wasted her best years out of the WTA circuit...
The Canadian had originally declared her career over in 2013 because the public pressure of negative comments on social networks and when she cameback at 2018 she had some injuries so she had no time to develop her game when she was on her 2013 peak. This player has a solid 1st serve but apart from that I don't really see anything outstanding on her game... She's a bad returner and is one of the slowest players on tour. You can't really say that she's in a good form because every single player that she beat this year in Grass is ranked below top 100 and some of them were even lower than top 300
Giorgi should have an easy matchup against a player that is not used to face top 30 opposition and shouldn't be able to answer the italian's powerful groundstrokes with quality.
