Girona are dominating all over Spain, bar teams like Real Madrid. They are seeing a meteoric rise in attention and a trophy will do wonders for the club and their supporters. They will go hard to win this game, even though it's away, and they are consistent goal scorers with players like Savio, Dovbyk, Tsigankov, and even 37 year old Stuani racking up contributions.

Mallorca are towards the bottom half of La Liga, and are not seeing anything close to the results that Girona are facing. They scrape a lot of draws and low scoring games, but this will be a completely different atmosphere. Cup games mean that both teams will go out and try to win, and goals will come as a result. Drawing 0-0 does nothing for them so if Girona score early they will have to rely on a much weaker attack to try and break down Girona.

Girona average 2.4 goals a match and are ranked #1 away from their home stadium in La Liga. Mallorca score 0.9 goals a match so that frightens me in terms of Both Teams to Score. What makes me lean towards TT Over 1.5 goals for Girona is the insane value on this for a team that scores lots of goal. Mallorca concede 1.2 goals a game which is about midtable in La Liga, but that doesn't account for teams like Girona who are relentless and don't stop the pressure and attack.

It's also worth mentioning that last time these teams faced off in La Liga, the result was 5-3 in favor of Girona back in September - which is something I'm hoping happens again. A high scoring game benefits the over 1.5 goals obviously, which is why I'm taking this for tomorrow.
