Jiri Lehecka went through a rough streak of losses to close 2023, mostly because of a bad physical form, but he's back on track in this new year. He played to acceptable games in United Cup and showed good rallies against Djokovic.

Jiri has a good serve and a powerful forehand that works well in hard courts. 2023 Australian Open was, in fact, his breakthrough tournament where he defeated several seeded players and reached QF.

His opponent, Adam Walton, is a Challenger level tennist who is playing his local tournament. He defeated two clay players (Cachin and Zapata Miralles) to reach the main draw but I expect him to be unable keep up against Lehecka's power today.
