[Football- England 'Championship'] 28.10/ 16:00 Ipswich- Plymouth

While everyone is going wild over Leiceister (and rightly so), Ipswich are cruising quietly along in their slipstream. While the Foxes lead the league by 5 to Ispwich, it is then another 6 to third place where the rest of the teams are in a scrum for the scraps.

Ipswich are free scoring, 7 goals in their last 2 home games and have a perfect home record except for a first day loss to Leeds in which they still managed to score 3 (3-4 to Leeds).

Ipswich put mid-level EPL team Wolves out of the cup this season, proving they are committed to success in all avenues (You often hear of teams forgoing the less prestigious cups in order to focus on a league - especially if in contention).

Plymouth have accumalated a disappointing single point away from home this season - at Hull (one of those teams in the scrum). This was interesting as the travel time in that fixture is a long one in UK football. Ipswich's Portman Road is a fortress, and always have been. The Tractor Boys' fans have always been a bit odd, and often come in as the twelfth man. Plymouth are going to hate it there. Expect a lot of 'Farmer' based chanting. Ooooo-aaaarrr!

Ipswich and Plymouth came up from EFL1 together after a thrilling neck and neck race with only 3 points in it to Plymouths favour at the end. It is fair to say that they have had polarising adjustments to life in the Championship. While I don't think Plymouth will yo-yo back down, and I don't think Ipswich will be 2nd at the end (I think Leeds & Southampton will have more longetivity over the full course) these are now two different beasts to last season. Easy home win.

I am a long time better based in the UK and a close follower of football, particularly the Championship where my team: Cardiff City reside. I prefer to look at the Championship and down in order to find value, as I feel value is hard to find in the Premier League due to it being famous. This is only my second pick that I've shared and hope to occasionally share what I like most. Let's see how it goes.
