[Football- Europa League] 26.10/ 18:45 Molde- Hacken
Both teams have a bad start to their Europa League Campaign, so this is a must win almost for both sides, at least for Molde as the host. The teams could have met each other in the Champions League qualifiers, but Hacken lost to Klaksvik.
Hacken was in 2021 facing relegation battle when Per-Mathias Høgmo came in, then he saved them, and ended the season two spots from relegation. In 2022 he followed that up with winning the league for the first time in the club history. This season has been tougher, with sales of key players and injuries, sees them 3rd with little chance of taking the 1st place.
Molde walked the league last season, but have found this season very difficult. It looked like they were about to enter the race for a spot in the top 3, but back to back defeats against Bodø/Glimt 1st place and Brann 3rd place, has seen that dream crushed. Just as Hacken, Molde has sold key players, and while the signed replacements they haven't been as good as they would have hoped.
Molde is missing their first choice-goalkeeper, but the replacement Oliver Pettersen have been pretty solid whenever he has gotten the chance, it has not been his fault that Molde have conceded 3 goals in back to back games. He also have saved 3 penalties in the last 2 games.
I'm not sure how this will go away, but at home Molde are super solid. Hacken has also not been super good away this season. The host also has a lot of European experience, as opposed to Hacken.
The odds have dropped further here, so little value as a single. Could either do Molde and BTTS, or just parlay Molde win with something else.
