I really like this pick here for Liverpool. At home, first league game since Klopp announced departure, night game, the stadium will be bouncing. They sit top of the league in scintillating form even with key players out, and finally they have some of those players returning, including left back Robertson, midfielder Szoboszlai and right back Trent Alexander Arnold. Their defense has been very strong recently in the league and this is where I think they will best Chelsea. This should be a lower scoring game than people think, but Liverpool with their attacking quality should be able to find the net, and with the form their two CB's are in I even think there's a chance they keep a clean sheet, lots of value there.
Chelsea have stepped up recently but they are still far away from the top 4. They have endured a weak season so far, and though they have played better recently I expect them to be bested here. These games between the two clubs often end in draws, but with City right on the heels of Liverpool they will be gunning for all three points. Liverpool perform especially well when they don't have to break teams down, and I think Chelsea will look to attack here which I expect will backfire.
This is a bit of an unpredictable one, but I think Liverpool should grab all three points here.
