This sunday Arsenal FC face Sheffield United FC and what both clubs currently have in common is that they are in a bad moment. Naturally, the bad time of the London city club is different from the Sheffield city club and while the latter is practically condemned to relegation, the other still has clear ambitions to climb the league table and guarantee a place of access to European competitions and, who knows, dreaming of winning the Europa League this year, despite being extremely difficult in the current context.
Despite all the negativity surrounding Arsenal FC, given its schedule and that of its direct opponents in the Premier League and even believing that, possibly, seventh place will also give access to UEFA competitions, as i wrote before, in my opinion, Arsenal still has conditions to move up the leaderboard, however, they need to start winning games quickly. This Sunday, dedication to such a task is crucial. They will face a team that, in thirty games, has only four wins and two draws and a measly seventeen goals scored and fifty-two conceded. Furthermore, playing at home, they are the second worst team in the league.
Next thursday the London team will have a decisive game for the UEFA Europe League, however, i think that this will not have an influence on today's game. For the opponent that they will face today, for believing that they are a superior team individually and collectively, for believing that Arsenal FC is a team that can still reach the desired minimums this season and for what i wrote in the first two paragraphs, i believe that, today, there is value in the bet of Arsenal FC to win against Sheffield United FC.
