[Football- Spain 'La Liga'] 10.3/ 19:00 Atletico Madrid- Athletic Bilbao
May be unconventional to not go for a UCL pick here, but I see a lot of value in this one. Bilbao has been incredible since the start of this year, with only two losses, both of which being to Barcelona. They've also won the Supercup against Barcelona, having beaten Real Madrid in the semis, and have now made it to next month's Copa Del Rey final.. against Barcelona! This is all since January lol. Despite losses in the league to them, every game has been close too. They're not dominating the league or anything, but they're holding their weight. Their games since the most recent defeat to Barcelona (1st Feb) have been a collection of wins and draws.
Considering overall form, despite throwing away plenty of games early on, they only ever failed to score away from home twice, both in succession at the start of the season, back in October. Ever since, they've always gotten a goal in, including their previous fixture against Atletico Madrid, which was 1-1.
Atletico Madrid on the other hand has been dominant, as they would be since they're top of the table. They have a few odd results but nothing unusual, hardly ever lose, rarely do they not score. Even if this is a likely a win for them, Bilbao are an extremely tough opponent as they've beaten or drawn every club above them in the table, and could very well do the same here. Worth noting, Atletico went from having a perfect home record to not winning the last 4 at home.
