Man United will absolutely NEVER be trusted with my money unless it comes to overs. United were dreadful defensively last season with an xGA of 1.73, better than just three teams two of which were relegated. To make things worse there backline is a massive question mark heading into tomorrow’s game. Lisandro Martinez will probably make the start but with Lenny Yoro injured and Shaw, Maguire and Evans (not that these are good options) listed as questionable we could see Lindelof or even de Ligt starting just a few days after signing. As for Fulham, they gave up a horrendous 1.7 xGA away from home last year, conceding nearly 2 goals a game. They did improve playing a low block the second half of the season but the loss of Paulhina and Calvin Bassey’s suspension will only make defending more difficult. Also they won’t defend in a low block as by the latest in the 60th minute this will become a basketball game since Ten Hag doesn’t know how to coach. As for the attacking side, Zirkzee will most likely start for United. Although he isn’t a great finisher he will help create chances and United pose enough of a threat with Bruno, Diallo, and Garnacho to put 2 or more past Fulham’s extremely shaky back line. As for Fulham, ESR its about to light it up and Muniz proved himself as a goalscorer with 9 goals in 18 starts last season. Jimenez has also found himself in the scoring more often and United also just can’t keep clean sheet. This is one of my more confident picks. I am extremely excited for this Premier League seasons and ready to make some bread.
