[Football- Euro 2024] 5.7/ 21:00 Portugal- France
I have absolutely no idea how to approach this match in terms of 1X2, I don't feel any big scoring either, although I also doubt 0-0. I came across such a bet on France's corners combined with their one card. France may be very ineffective, they don't score goals at this tournament, but they do launch attacks quite often, and these tend to end in corners. This line was covered by them in 3 out of 4 matches at this tournament, 5 with Belgium, 11 with Poland, 6 with the Netherlands and 2 with Austria. The bet will certainly be supported by the lack of quick goals for France, because it is clear that they scored these corners in matches where they were tied for a long time. The line is small, however, and I think that 4 corners in 90 minutes is a must. Especially since Portugal probably does not intend to play 120 minutes again and count on penalties, France may prove to be much more effective in penalties than Slovenia, they will attack from the beginning, so France will not be sitting in their own half. I will add one, any card for the French to the bet. In such a hit it will be difficult not to get a single card, the Portuguese play hard, I expect a fight for every ball and more than one shove, which often ends in cards. They didn't get a single card only in the match with Holland, they even got a yellow card with Poland, 2 with Austria and 3 with Belgium. The importance of the match with Portugal is even greater and on top of that it is an eternal rival, their last meeting was at the previous Euro, where it ended memorable 2-2 after goals by Benzema and Ronaldo. There France got 4 yellow cards. The only thing that worries me is the referee of this match, Michael Oliver, who hasn't been throwing cards around left and right so far. In Poland yes, but here in 3 matches only 4 yellow cards, although these matches weren't very rich in fouls. Despite this, I believe that in 90 minutes France will make one serious foul, if not a foul, then maybe some time-wasting at the end if there is a good result or discussions with the referee without the captain's armband on.
