Patriotically, I would very much like Magda to advance to the next round in this first round match, but analyzing this match I sense a surprise here. Both tennis players met in March on hard surfaces, where the Italian confidently defeated Magda in two sets. In the last match on a grass surface, Magda went through two rounds, winning against Hibino and Maria T. and being eliminated against Boulter, where she was broken four times in the last match, playing with a low percentage on the serve and with a return of 13% on the British's serve, which also leaves a lot to be desired. The Italian has not played on grass yet this year, but looking at her last matches, at the Grand Slam tournament she won a set against the strong Osaka, where Iga impressively pulled out a practically lost match against the Japanese, and yet she turned the victory to her advantage. Looking at how the Italian played on grass last season, in my opinion it was a real plus. In Bod Homburg, where Iga Świątek and other top tennis players also played, she reached the very final, being eliminated after a fairly even match against Siniakova. Magda likes to play on grass, but watching her last match, I see a good chance for the Italian to win here. Regards.
