[Football- England 'League One'] 4.5/ 20:45 Peterborough- Oxford Utd
Championship competition on aggregate between Peterborough and Oxford. Oxford narrowly won the first match 1-0 in the university town. Peterborough is certainly able to make up for the losses in the return leg at home and play in the play-off final at Wembley. Especially since "The Posh" played brilliantly at home this season, scoring as many as 55 goals against their rivals on their own pitch. And I won't be surprised if Mason-Clarke & company tear apart the Yellows' defense on Wednesday evening. Cameroonian defensive midfielder Jeandro Fuchs will not play due to injury. However, the goal-scoring Ghanaian striker Kwame Poku returns to the match squad after injury (he will probably fight with David Ajiboye for the starting line-up and the offensive duo with Ephron Mason-Clark).
Oxford looks solid (especially in defense, it is physically strong), as evidenced by only one defeat in the last ten games. This is a good omen for Des Buckingham's team. But there is no doubt that his players will face a tough test at the Weston Homes Stadium. Striker Will Goodwin did not play in the first match due to an injury and his game is again questionable. Defender Sam Long returns to the match squad after illness.
The Posh won the autumn game at Weston Homes Stadium against Oxford 3-0. And they should do it again on Wednesday.
