Going back to the old reliable: fade the most shit team in the league. So far we’ve made some really good money fading Riestra, and I don’t see their nightmare in first division ever getting better.
This week Riestra will be receiving Atlético Tucumán. Like them, Tucumán are yet to win a game. They might both hope to pick up their first points of the season, but the reality is the fear of losing against another bottom team will outweigh any ambition. Both teams have only managed to score 1 goal, and we’re now 5 games in. Tucumán got their goal on match day 1, and have now gone over 370 minutes without scoring. Riestra went the first 4 games without scoring, and bagged their first goal last game, in a 2-1 defeat against Vélez.
I expect this to be one of the worst, most boring games of the season. Neither of these teams spend much time attacking, and when they do they do not have anywhere near the attacking talent to score from infrequent, low quality chances.
Whoever scores first in this game (if anyone even does), is going to shut down shop immediately. Expect very little football to be played after that goal, and lots of rolling around and time wasting. This has 1 goal game written all over it.
