Round of 16 in the French cup. Last season FC Rouen made the step up to National 1, which is the French third division after Ligue1 and Ligue2.

FC Rouen has done quite well in the 3rd league and is currently in 7th place, but only 5 points from the relegation zone though. They’re coming from two straight losses in the league, most recently they lost at home against bottom team FC Versailles with 2-1. In this transfer window they’ve also sold their goalscorer who scored 8 goals in 15 games to Ligue2 side Ajaccio, as well as another important player to Frosinone in Serie A.

Monaco is 5th in Ligue 1, they’re coming from two straight draws in the league. L5 games: DDWLD. Reportedly there will be several stars who will start here, such as Salisu, Vanderson, Golovin and the biggest star/captain Wissam Ben Yedder. They seem to take the cup seriously and with the quality in their squad they should beat a weakened and out of form third division team.

Monaco basically needs to win by 2 or more goals for our bet to win, which I think is reasonable with the quality gap between the sides.
